Fulvio Conti^(a) (age 58) will join the Board as a non-executive Director on 1st April 2006. Fulvio is Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Enel SpA, the Italian energy group, a position he has held since May 2005. He became Chief Financial Officer of Enel SpA in 1999. Fulvio was formerly General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Telecom Italia and between 1996 and 1998 was General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of Ferrovie dello Stato, the Italian national railway. Fulvio began his career in 1969 with the Mobil Group, where he held a number of executive positions in Italy and abroad, including a period as Chief Financial Officer for Europe.
